Well, we are officially in the month of December now. We can now start looking forward to Christmas and the New Year that will be here in less than a month. What are you excited for this month? Let me know in the comments! Now, I just want to say that this week's countdown was slightly better than it was last week. I appreciated the biggest drop this week, but I didn't appreciate a few drops from good songs that deserve recognition. Now, before we get to this week's fresh 45 songs, here's the song we are saying goodbye to this week:

  • Demi Lovato - Body Say (#41)
Last Week's #1 Song: The Chainsmokers/Halsey - Closer
#1 Song This Week 1 Year Ago: Adele - Hello

New Entrants

~ We only have one new entrant again this week. That entrant is Adele returning with another destined hit, Water Under The Bridge. This is definitely better than the last two singles off of 25, When We Were Young and Send My Love (To Your New Lover). Whether it tops Hello or not, is something that the future will tell. This song is much better than the last two singles because instrumentals are widely used, which fits Adele's music a hundred times better. Her voice is very powerful which is a great thing and the chorus just grabs my attention every time. All in all, I would love to see this song have some success here. I'm sure it will, because, hey, it's Adele.

Water Under The Blurbs

~ I am completely okay with the reign of The Chainsmokers/Halsey - Closer on this countdown. There is nothing else in the top 10, even though most of it is good, that I would really want at #1 at the moment.

~ I would really love seeing Shawn Mendes - Treat You Better and Panic! At The Disco - Death Of A Bachelor drop very soon, the latter of which is popular nowhere else.

~ I really am on the verge of putting Ariana Grande - Into You in blue. No joke. It is getting kind of annoying that this is jumping from the top 10, out of the top 10 and blocking her better song from being this high up.

~ I would appreciate if Daya - Sit Still, Look Pretty could drop more.

~ Although I do like Alessia Cara - Scars To Your Beautiful, it is getting annoying with these tiny jumps and drops all over the place for some reason. I just really wouldn't be devastated if it were to leave in the near future.

~ Honestly, Andy Grammer - Fresh Eyes and OneRepublic - Kids should not be here. The former is just now getting popular on other charts which is driving me crazy and the latter was never really popular anywhere else in the first place, yet they are this high up.

~ It is very pleasing to see that Sia/Kendrick Lamar - The Greatest and Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj - Side To Side are back in the top 20, but they need to be higher.

~ Fifth Harmony - That's My Girl needs to stop hanging around in the 20's. Vote for this song!

~ I am beginning to lose interest in Runaground - Chase You Down, just because I feel there isn't much to it.

~ I am about to rant, so get ready. I really do not understand why Hits 1 and the voters can't appreciate good songs when they see them. Three good songs took unreasonable drops this week and as you can see, I am not happy. Jon Bellion - All Time Low, DNCE - Body Moves, and Gnash/Olivia O'Brien - I Hate U, I Love U all took very irrational and ridiculous drops, considering they are three of the most popular songs out there right now. I really would love to see them make a recovery next week, but just because luck turns out to never happen, they probably won't.

~ I can't continue liking Justin Bieber - Can't Stop The Feeling! because it has been extremely overplayed this year. I really want to, but I am just done with it.

~ Yes, you saw it correctly, Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman has just crossed over to the blue side. Not saying that it will stay there for long, because considering it has been one of my most favorite songs this year, it will probably be green again.

~ Calvin Harris - My Way and Nick Jonas - Bacon should've been more of a success, such a shame.
