Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Tori Kelly - Hollow (-13)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: One Direction - Drag Me Down (+12)

#1 Recommendation For Hits 1: Mike Posner/SeeB - I Took A Pill In Ibiza

#1 Recommendation For You: Taylor Swift - New Romantics

Debuts

~ Well, Victorious from Panic! At The Disco re-enters at #30. I honestly don't care if this song leaves or doesn't. It's probably just a space filler though because I never saw it to re-enter the countdown.

Adventure Of A Blurbtime

~ We are starting to get rid of the annoying and very old songs slowly, but gradually.

~ The bottom 5 songs are all bad or very close to on the verge of becoming bad.

~ Hollow shouldn't have dropped. How annoying.

~ Why couldn't Youth jump just a little more? Three spots, are you serious? We need to get all the crappy/mediocre songs out of the top half of the countdown.

~ Wake Up dropped too? What's up with all these good songs dropping?

~ Stitches is becoming very annoying. Get to the bottom a little more. I never thought I'd hate this song. Radio killed it.

~ I am actually very happy that Wildest Dreams jumped back into the 20's. I still love this song so much!

~ S.O.B. dropping to #28? I'll take it. At least it is dropping.

~ Pillowtalk is so catchy. Zayn sounds better as a solo artist and One Direction sounds better without him. So it's a win win.

~ Roses is starting to jump into the top 20 again. Okay.

~ Out Of The Woods is a great song. I don't mind its little, harmless drop.

~ Cake By The Ocean has grew back into me over the course of the week for some reason.

~ No. Just no. Drag Me Down is in the top 3 at #2. If this song continues to stay in the top 10, more importantly the top 3, I will lose my mind. This is ridiculous. Hits 1 is known to hang onto songs, but they hang on to them towards the bottom of the countdown. Not the top. Drag Me Down is so annoying now I can't even stand it anymore. It needs to leave. A song that was popular 5 months ago has no reason to be at #2. This is ridiculous. I'm sorry to all you Directioners, but Hits 1 can hold onto this song. Just not this high up. It's crazy.

~ I hope Stressed Out can keep the #1 spot. Let's go Twenty One Pilots!

Bottom 5
1. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats - S.O.B.
2. One Direction - Drag Me Down
3. The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face
4. Jason Derulo - Get Ugly
5. Ed Sheeran - Photograph

Top 5
1. Zayn - Pillowtalk
2. Taylor Swift - Out Of The Woods
3. Ellie Goulding - Something In The Way You Move
4. Selena Gomez - Hands To Myself
5. Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams

The Hot 45 Chart will hopefully be out later tonight!

Love ya fam!

Hey fam! The moment is finally here! The Q&A Post 10,000/15,000 Pageview Special! Your questions. My answers. Let's begin.

Question #1 from Anonymous and Graham:

Answer:

Well this is difficult. Here is my answer.

5. Taylor Swift - Love Story

4. Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams
3. Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me
2. Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
1. Daniel Powter - Bad Day

Interesting question!

Question #2 from Graham:

What is your favorite band/artist of all time?

Answer:

For a band, it would be Maroon 5. For an artist. It would be Taylor Swift. Thanks for the question!

Question #3 from Graham:

What grade are you in for school?

Answer:

I am in 8th grade. Good question Graham!

Question #4 from Graham:

Do you like blogging your Hot 45 Chart or The Weekend Countdown better?

Answer:

Well, I love listening to the countdown every weekend and blogging my opinions on the songs. I love Hits 1, but their logic and willingness to get new songs to the countdown is mostly lacking. So, I really like blogging my Hot 45 Chart a little more because I can actually create the charts based on a myriad of statistics. I like these questions very much Graham!

Question #5 from Triff:

What's your opinion on Panic! At The Disco's new album called Death Of A Bachelor? I love it! If you have never heard it, here are the songs I recommend giving a listen: ~Victourios (You've definitely already heard that one;) ~LA Devotee ~Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time ~Hallelujah ~House Of Memories Last, but not least, Emporer's New Clothes (my favorite song in the album!) In other words, congrats on making it to 15,000 pageviews! You're blogs looking really good!

Answer:

I think Death Of A Bachelor is a pretty good album. The listed songs are all pretty decent. Also, thanks for the praise at the end Triff! I appreciate the sort of question!

What was your favorite weekend countdown in 2015?

Answer:

My favorite countdown in 2015 would probably be the week of May 30, 2015. Thanks for the question!

Question #7 from Mikey ("The Boss") and Anonymous:

Who's going in The White House?

Answer:

If this means who's going to be president. Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton will probably be president. One of the two, but I don't like either of them. So yeah, thanks for the question Mikey ("The Boss") and Anonymous.

Question #8 from Anonymous:

Can you write and/or type with your feet?

Answer:

Probably not. Thanks for the question though.

Question #9 from 409:

How old are you in real life?

Answer:

I'm almost 14. Thanks for the question 409!

Question #10 from 409:

What is your favorite animal?

Answer:

I really love turtles and aquatic animals. I really love them. These questions are good as well because they don't involve just music. Thanks for the question!

Question #11 from 409:

What is your favorite food?

Answer:

I am a vegetarian, so I don't eat any meat, except occasionally I eat bacon, which isn't much. Anyways, I love cheese ravioli. That is my favorite food. I also love greens like kale and spinach and I really love mushrooms. Yes, you all must think I'm weird. Thanks for the question 409!

Question #12 from Anonymous:

What do you like to do in your free time?

Answer:

I play soccer in the fall. Then I mostly occupy my time with the blog. I am also in jazz band and Spanish club at my school. I play the saxophone and I'm a beginner on piano. I know a few songs already. I also love to swim as I take lessons over the summer. I also have many little cousins and brothers which I love to death and spend a lot of my time with. They are my best friends and we are very close. I am also an honor society member because I am an honors student. I have a lot of homework. So yeah, I do a lot in my free time. Thanks for the question!

Question #13 from Anonymous:

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Answer:

I love music. I really want to do something in the music field. If I can't, then my backup would be a teacher. Thanks for the question, I appreciate it!

Question #14 from Anonymous:

Do you like blogging to your fans?

Answer:

I'm not sure they are necessarily "fans" but they are a blog family or "fam". Thanks for the question Anonymous!

Question #15 from Anonymous:

What's your favorite TV Show/Movie😊😊?

Answer:

I love mostly anything Disney and I love to watch The Voice. So yeah,

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Shawn Mendes - Stitches (-10)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Justin Bieber - Love Yourself (+17)

#1 Recommendation For Hits 1: Pitbull/Robin Thicke/Joe Perry/Travis Barker - Bad Man

#1 Recommendation For You: Duke Dumont - Ocean Drive

Debuts

~ Troye Sivan has excellent vocals and he is here with his first countdown song Youth. This song is really good, but I wasn't expecting it to debut this week. I was either expecting History or Victorious to enter the countdown because they had near 20 spins, and this had about 8. Anyways, I am happy this song debuted over the other two. I hope it has success, but knowing Hits 1, I don't think it will.

Blurb Yourself

~ Hey, I kind of grew back into Like I'm Gonna Lose You. I have no clue why, I haven't heard it at all this week.

~ The #43, #42, and #41 songs need to exit this countdown as soon as possible. They are becoming very intolerable, especially #41.

~ Moments needs to make up its mind. Is it just going to have a lousy countdown carreer? Probably. It's only peaked near the bottom of the 20's.

~ Can't Feel My Face is still here and it is beyond ridiculous. The Hills would be much better to have here over this song. I can't stand this song anymore, but it's not as bad as the godawful S.O.B..

~ Hang on Taylor! Wildest Dreams is going to hang on, hopefully. I am still as in love with the song as the moment I first heard it. It is so good.

~ Confident's making its way down. Fine by me.

~ Kamikaze isn't moving much. It's starting to fade on me anyway. I have mixed opinions on this song.

~ Way to go #26! Keep going! I love this song still.

~ Roses shouldn't be at #25. It is in the top 10 on many other charts, but in the bottom half of the countdown here. There is no reason why it shouldn't be in the top 10 right now.

~ Two of our debuts from last week have failed to move. One on the other hand, has been very successful.

~ The godawful S.O.B. is still here. I hate this song so much.

~ Pillowtalk is good! Keep jumping!

~ Drag Me Down dropped out of the top 10! Finally! Let's get it back down to the 30's, or even better, off the countdown, where it was a few months ago.

~ Adventure Of A Lifetime is so boring. I can't stand this song anymore. It is crazy boring.

~ It would be great if we could get the flood of pink songs out of the top 10.

~ I honestly thought Adele could pull it off. Hello had more spins than the top 2 songs this week.

Bottom 5 Songs
1. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats - S.O.B.
2. The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face
3. One Direction - Drag Me Down
4. Jason Derulo - Get Ugly
5. Ed Sheeran - Photograph

Top 5 Songs
1. Taylor Swift - Out Of The Woods
2. Selena Gomez - Hands To Myself
3. Zayn - Pillowtalk
4. Ellie Goulding - Something In The Way You Move
5. Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams

The Hot 45 Chart will be out later today hopefully. The Q&A Post will be out maybe tomorrow or this week. We'll see.

Love ya fam!

58th Annual Grammy Awards Performance Review

Hey guys! So, as you probably all know by now, The 58th Annual Grammy Awards were on last night on CBS. The show last night was pretty good. So, I am not going to do a full review of the show (performances, award winners, nominees, celebrities, presenters, anouncers, etc.), because you know The Grammy's always give out lie eight million awards and invite countless presenters and celebrities, so that would take forever. But anyway, let's just get to the performance review.

Gwen Stefani - Make Me Like You

Comments: Gwen Stefani's music video premiere for Make Me Like You was really part of the commerical break, but according to other sources it was listed as a performance. This video was pretty good in my opinion. It skipped from room to room as Stefani posed in several outfits and roller skated down a tunnel and got salon treatment. It was pretty good and the song is pretty good, so that calls for a good overall performance, right?

Grade: 8.5/10

Taylor Swift - Out Of The Woods

Comments: I guess Taylor Swift is a natural born show opener. Her performance for Out Of The Woods was pretty good though, like most of her performances. She hit some really good notes. Speculation also surrounded Taylor throughout the night. Apparently after her performance, she was seen upset, but then comforted by best friend Selena Gomez. She was also speculated as being surprised for herself and Ed Sheeran as she always does. According to several additional sources, she was also known at the show for slamming Kanye West for using her name in his new song Famous without her permission, saying he made her famous. The crowd reaction from Tori Kelly was ultimately pointed at her disgust for Taylor Swift. Yes, I am getting off track, but it seems that people may be getting tired of Ms. Swift. Anyways, her tracks are still good and her performance last night was good as usual.

Grade: 9.5/10

Carrie Underwood/Sam Hunt - Take Your Time/Heartbeat

Comments: Sam Hunt and Carrie Underwood actually should do a duet together. Their performance of Take Your Time and Heartbeat was actually exceptionally good. Carrie and Sam seriously sound great singing together. Sam had a great way to end the song with singing Take Your Time while Carrie was singing Heartbeat. When they ended the performance with Take Your Time, it was a great ending.

Grade: 9/10

The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face/In The Night

Comments: I was thinking at the beginning, oh man, it is all going downhill from here. The Weeknd's performance of Can't Feel My Face was lacking of entertainment considering that it is as bland and old as stale crackers by now, yes I am terrible at analogies. But when he started performing In The Night with the piano in a less fiery way, I was impressed. It was more slow and something I would like to hear more of from The Weeknd. Although the last part of the performance, Can't Feel My Face skewed my opinion on the performance as a whole.

Grade: 7/10

Ellie Goulding/Andra Day - Rise Up/Love Me Like You Do

Comments: Wow. This wasn't what I was expecting. Ellie Goulding and Andra Day really slowed things down during the performance of Rise Up and Love Me Like You Do. This was just so slow and I didn't think they were going to do something like this. Ellie sounded good and as for Andra she sounded great, hitting all of those notes. This was a pretty decent performance.

Grade: 8/10

John Legend/Demi Lovato/Luke Bryan/Meghan Trainor/Tyrese Gibson/Lionel Ritchie - Easy/Hello/Penny Lover/You Are/Brick House/All Night Long (All Night)

Comments: Jeez. That was a long lineup of performers. So basically, let's start with a rundown of this performance. John Legend comes out and performs Easy, and he did it pretty well. Then, Demi Lovato comes out and sings Hello, which she also did pretty good. Penny Lover was next up to the plate from Luke Bryan and he did an okay job on it. Then Meghan Trainor comes out of the shadows and performs You Are with her newly died red hair, which she also did a decent job at. Brick House was next from Tyrese Gibson and he actually surprised me, his voice sounded like the vocals on the original track. Lastly, they invite their hero, Lionel Ritchie onstage to perform All Night Long (All Night) which was okay. I really think they could have cut down the number of performers that they had perform for this tribute. I mean, six performers is a little over the top. Anyways, it was a pretty average performance.

Grade: 7/10

Little Big Town - Girl Crush

Comments: Wow. This was just wow. Little Big Town did a great job performing Girl Crush. This was a great performance. The vocals from Karen Fairchild were just phenomenal and the piano was great. These are all great factors to a good performance.

Grade: 9/10

Stevie Wonder/Pentatonix - That's The Way Of The World

Comments: This was kind of boring I have to admit. It was very short and I just wasn't really into it Stevie Wonder and Pentatonix performing just wasn't good in my opinion. That's The Way Of The World wasn't performed well enough to grab my attention.

Grade: 4.5/10

Eagles/Bernie Leadon/Jackson Browne - Take It Easy

Comments: I mean, sure Eagles are considered musical inspirations or legends if you will. Their tribute to late band mate Glenn Frey was average I guess. The additions of Bernie Leadon and Jackson Browne didn't really make the song sound different, so it didn't really matter. I mean it wasn't a total yawner.

Grade: 6/10

Tori Kelly/James Bay - Hollow/Let It Go

Comments: So this was pretty good. Tori Kelly and James Bay did a great job of making their performance just a regular old singing style. The mixture of Hollow and Let It Go was fantastic for a performance. Tori Kelly still ceases to amaze me with her amazing vocals and James Bay has really great vocals as well. This performance was pretty good.

Grade: 9.5/10

The Cast Of Hamilton - Alexander Hamilton

Comments: I didn't know that The Grammy's were going to enlist The Cast Of Hamilton to do a musical number during the show, but boy was it good. Alexander Hamilton is a song that has been know for bringing hip hop to Broadway for the first time. This was actually quite enjoyable because it is something I have never seen before.

Grade: 8/10

Kendrick Lamar - The Blacker The Berry/Alright

Comments: It seems that I was wrong. Kendrick Lamar is a really good rapper. He doesn't rap about junk and stuff, he raps from his emotions. He did pretty good performing The Blacker The Berry and Alright.

Grade: 6.5/10

Miguel/Greg Phillinganes - She's Out Of My Life

Comments: This was so short, it shouldn't have even been counted as a performance. It was literally thirty seconds. Miguel has a good voice and all and Greg Phillinganes does good on the piano, but the performance of She's Out Of My Life was so short it was sort of uninteresting.

Grade: 4.5/10

Adele - All I Ask

Comments: So this was a return from Adele. It was okay to watch but got boring in parts. All I Ask is a kind of Adele single that is okay at first and then totally fades out on you. I mean if I hold back on listening to a song like this, then it won't get annoying quick. All I am trying to say is that Adele did a good job at performing as usual, but All I Ask is just an average song. On another note, I saw Adele on camera throughout a lot of the show, she looked pretty enthusiastic about the show.

Grade: 7/10

Justin Bieber/Jack U - Love Yourself/Where Are U Now

Comments: I guess this was okay. The opening with Love Yourself was kind of boring. Things started to get interesting when Justin Bieber threw his guitar on stage and ran up to join Jack U and the gang to sing Where Are U Now. This song actually is starting to become good to me every time I keep listening to it. It was an okay performance.

Grade: 7/10

Lady Gaga/Nile Rodgers - Space Oddity/Changes/Ziggy Stardust/Suffragette City/Rebel Rebel/Fashion/Fame/Under Pressure/Let's Dance/Heroes

Comments: Jeez. Another long list of songs. Cut down the number of songs you perform for a tribute people! Ten songs is quite too much. You must really love David Bowie when you dress up like him to perform a tribute to him. But hey, it's Lady Gaga, right? Starting off with the great Space Oddity was a good choice and then going into Changes really grasped your beginning attention. When she got to Ziggy Stardust, Suffragette City, Rebel Rebel, and Fashion it got kind of boring. Then she gets into Fame and it becomes a bit more interesting. After that she gets into the legendary Under Pressure and Let's Dance, which is where it got good. Finishing with Heroes, that really was ending you thought would never come. Nile Rodgers did great on guitar. This wasn't entirely a sleeper, Lady Gaga usually does her things oddly but decently.

Grade: 6.5/10

Chris Stapleton/Gary Clark Jr./Bonnie Raitt - The Thrill Is Gone

Comments: This was really boring. I'm sorry Chris Stapleton, Gary Clark Jr., and Bonnie Raitt, but this was very boring. I just couldn't watch them perform The Thrill Is Gone. Chris Stapleton doesn't really have a decent voice in my opinion. His voice is kind of boring and that sent the performance downhill fast.

Grade: 1.5/10

Alabama Shakes - Don't Wanna Fight

Comments: I have to admit, I didn't think this would be interesting. Alabama Shakes aren't that bad though. Their performance of Don't Wanna Fight was pretty good and I actually was kind of interested. I was not expecting myself to like this.

Grade: 8/10

The Hollywood Vampires - As Bad As I Am/Ace Of Spades

Comments: One word. Boring. The Hollywood Vampires were uninteresting while performing As Bad As I Am and Ace Of Spades. This was definitely a yawner. This was something that was not that good. Enough said.

Grade: 1/10

Joey Alexander - Piano Solo

Comments: Man this kid can play piano. Joey Alexander did great performing Piano Solo. He did a great job. I am also learning at the moment how to play piano. I can play basic chords and songs at the moment. I can also play a couple cords on the guitar. There is also one more thing I can play, the saxophone. I am pretty great at the saxophone, I have been practicing on it for quite a few years now. Joey Alexander, anyway, did phenomenal on the piano. He was great.

Grade: 8/10

Pitbull/Robin Thicke/Joe Perry/Travis Barker - El Taxi/Bad Man

Comments: This was good. Pitbull did a good job on El Taxi with that interesting cameo from Sofia Vergara. When he collaborated with Robin Thicke, Joe Perry, and Travis Barker on their new jam Bad Man it was great. This performance was really good.

Grade: 8.5/10

Bottom 5 Performances
1. The Hollywood Vampires - As Bad As I Am/Ace Of Spades
2. Chris Stapleton/Gary Clark Jr./Bonnie Raitt - The Thrill Is Gone
3. Miguel/Greg Phillinganes - She's Out Of My Life
4. Stevie Wonder/Pentatonix - That's The Way Of The World

2. Tori Kelly/James Bay - Hollow/Let It Go
3. Little Big Town - Girl Crush

2019 Year-End Post #4: My Top 45 Songs of 2019
