Bad Blurber

~ The Chainsmokers & Coldplay - Something Just Like This has returned to the top. I'll take it. It's a good song, so I'm not caring too much. Like I said, if it's keeping #2 from the top spot, or even #5, I'm okay with it.

~ We received four top 10 entrants this week. We see Linkin Park/Kiiara - Heavy again, which I'm not minding too much. We also see Lady Gaga - The Cure, which I'm happy seeing here. James Arthur - Say You Won't Let Go has returned to the top 10 as well. This one remains okay for the time being, I don't hate it yet, but it's starting to get old. Finally, Charlie Puth - Attention makes an appearance, much to my happiness.

~ I have noticed Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You has dropped below the top 10. This is one of the songs that I thought would be there forever. Maybe we can't be so sure it's leaving this quickly.

~ It was said by me last week that I did not think AJR - Weak would last too long in the top 10, that it was just a weird thing that happened. What did I tell you? It's out. I don't care too much, though.

~ Shawn Mendes - Mercy just doesn't want to leave. It's time though. It needs to not try anymore.

~ Train - Play That Song has officially dropped out of the top 20, now all we have to do is keep it there, and we should be all set.

~ DNCE - Kissing Strangers has risen from the dead, or at least the songs we thought were going to be dead here. I am pretty happy about this, since I have been liking the song lately a lot more. The only thing is we have to get it to keep rising.

~ Sam Hunt - Body Like A Back Road made somewhat of a jump this week, but I would prefer it stray away from the top 30, just to prevent anything that will be annoying in the future.

~ Did Aaron Carter - Sooner Or Later just hit a new peak? I think it did. I really don't understand why this song has been doing so poorly, as it is easily one of the best songs here. Come on people, get your acts together!

~ Fitz & The Tantrums - HandClap is looking to see an end here in the near future. It was nice having you.

~ One last thing. How in the hell is Maroon 5 - Don't Wanna Know still hanging on like this? I just would appreciate it if this one left. You can all see how deathly annoying it has become for me.

Body Like A Back Blurb

~ So, we see a return to #1 from Zedd & Alessia Cara - Stay. I have to say that although this song is becoming a little bit closer to blue lately, I still don't mind that it's here. As long as it's preventing Ed Sheeran - Castle On The Hill from weirdly stealing the crown again, I'm definitely okay with that.

~ Imagine Dragons - Believer no longer has business in my playlists, so it should no longer have business in the top 10.

~ Panic! At The Disco - L.A. Devotee is beginning to become old, so I would appreciate it if this jump was only a temporary one.

~ Speaking of jumps, we got quite a surprising one from AJR - Weak. I would have never expected this song to reach the top 10 here, but it's Hits 1 and anything can happen on this station, even though I'm not really seeing this rise lasting long.

~ Selena Gomez - Bad Liar hopped right into the top 20 on its second week. I really have been enjoying this song a lot lately. Many people in this community could say otherwise, but I just find the song to be very appealing to me. It may not be her work at its finest, but it's a really catchy song.

~ How the hell is Train - Play That Song still this high up? This song, as far as I know has only been recognized on two or three stations. I can't believe that it's had so much success here, but it needs to stop because the song has no appeal at all.

~ Miley Cyrus - Malibu has been rising at a slower rate than I had expected it to. It's interesting. I thought her comeback single would just bloom here.

~ Speaking of slow start-offs, Liam Payne/Quavo - Strip That Down has also been a very slow bloomer to my very big surprise, as I had thought that this one, being from a former One Direction member, would just thrive immediately.

~ Ocean Park Standoff - Good News had a better start off than I had expected. I thought it would be a second week dropper, much like the ones we have been seeing lately.

~ DJ Khaled/Justin Bieber/Chance The Rapper - I'm The One is surprising me. I would have expected this one to be very successful, but it's declined success would most likely be due to featuring an artist that this station hasn't ever picked up before, and with that artist being a rapper, it's very clear.

~ I have pretty much given up all hope on Aaron Carter - Sooner Or Later and ONE OK ROCK - American Girls. I really was hoping to see at least one successful jump by each of these songs, but that's probably not going to happen at this point.

~ It seems kind of strange when you really look at it that Machine Gun Kelly & Camila Cabello - Bad Things hasn't left yet. When you also think about it, this song has been here for months and months now.

Hey guys! I am again very sorry for the late post! This has been my last week of school, so I had finals all week, as well as a few next week. I am also currently drowning in my summer homework for my Advanced Placement classes, so my posts will hopefully be out as much as I can over the summer. I guess I should reward myself for working so hard in those classes though because this past week, for the second year in a row, I received the honor of being the Most Outstanding Male in my grade. New Entrants

~ First up this week, we have Liam Payne, yet another former member of One Direction with rapper Quavo, in his debut single, Strip That Down. With the addition of this song to this chart, we now have one song here from each former One Direction member. That is very interesting. Now, with this song, I would like to say that the vocals are the most attractive part to it. I enjoy the chorus in a weird way and I like singing along to it. The main downside of this song is the weird production, but when you look it, it isn't that terrible. Quavo does a decent job here as well, so that was refreshing. All in all, this is not the best debut single of any of the One Direction members at the moment, but it is very well in the running. For now, I would just like to enjoy this song without the annoyance of overplay and actually see it do well here.

~ Our second and final debut of the week came from the new old Miley Cyrus. She finally has returned, and this time, she has dialed down the crazy factor with the laid back song, Malibu. I almost got so used to the different side of Miley Cyrus, that this song was unattractive at first, but after repeated listens, I have definitely grown into it. I really like the vocal content on this track. That is the main sell for me on this one. The one small downside to this song, is the repetitive lyrics that could get old in the future, but for now, they are working for me. This was a good example to show that Miley is finally changing back to her old ways and I like this Miley better. I hope she sticks to her word, and that this one will do well here.
