As I am coming closer to midterms, I have come to the point where I need to start studying. I am sorry for the delay again. ~ Halsey - Bad At Love gaining steam and reaching the #1 slot on the countdown is completely okay with me. I find it quite relieving after seeing last week's #1 song return for an unnecessary extra week. Although there are better choices to reign the countdown in the top 5, I don't mind this one being here at all.
~ Ed Sheeran - Perfect has reached a new peak at #2. I would certainly not mind seeing this overtake the countdown in the coming weeks. I especially like the new version of this song as well. It is a very sweet love song. It's one of the most decent love songs we've had in a while.
~ Thankfully, Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl dropped out of the #1 slot this week. Frankly, one week at #1 for this song was overkill enough. It's just not a song that should be peaking that high up.
~ We received a re-entrance into the top 10 from Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso this week. Let Me Go, featuring Florida Georgia Line and watt has come back. I would love to see this one peak a little higher. It is one of the best songs here. However, I'm not sure that it is going to go further than this here.
~ Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It? has officially dropped out of the top 10. Oh well. I am just glad it did okay here.
~ What really would be a miracle this holiday season is if Imagine Dragons would just drop below the #20 mark with Believer. We're getting really close to removing the only bad song currently in the top 20.
~ Yes! The Shadowboxers - Hot Damn had the biggest jump this week. I am so happy to see this one doing good here. It's been growing on me a lot more lately.
~ Sam Hunt - Body Like A Back Road jumping over ten spots is definitely not okay. Other direction please, pal. I am very sick of you.
~ Harry Styles - Kiwi is off to a bad start. I somehow expected this. Maybe it's just going to surprise us (hopefully).
~ I thought for sure that The Script - Rain would be gone by now. It's really surprising that it's still hanging on, but I'm sure it will leave next week.
