Hey guys! So, I am very happy with how this countdown turned out, considering our #1 this week. I am also very I happy I finally got a day off from the madness today. No, we did not get off from school earlier this week, and I had about fifty assignments due (no joke, I was up until like 2:00 every night). So, I am finally on winter break! It's also my favorite time of the year! Year-end posts are the part of the year I always look forward to. Although not many of you seemed to care for my first one, I hope you will read and enjoy the other ones (please!). New Entrants

~ Our first entrant this week comes from one of the hosts of Hits 1 In Hollywood, Symon. She debuts with Lonely Girl this week, her next single. Although she has come out with a few songs in the past year, it's clear that she has not been very popular with the public. Considering how her video for her first single which was released earlier last year, has not even reached one million views on its video yet. Lonely Girl is nothing special to me, but I can appreciate what it is trying to accomplish as a track. I don't think it will be something I will remember very much, and it could turn out being something I don't like if it stays long. However, it's okay for now.

~ Our second and final entrant this week comes from Macklemore with his now second single on the countdown, Good Old Days, featuring Kesha. I believe that this one tops the other song he has on the countdown right now, but we'll have to see how things play out long term. Kesha has great vocals on this one and I really like how this song also showcases the new sound and lane she's been approaching lately. Macklemore also does very nicely with his verses in this one. All in all, it has good vocals that blend perfectly, as well as nice lyrical content, and a decent enough production behind it. I would like to see this one do as well as its predecessor if it can.

Best New Entrant Of The Week: Macklemore/Kesha - Good Old Days

  1. Did you grow back into Starving? It is in green and last time I checked you had it in red or turquoise.
