Well, hey guys! I have some cool news! Yesterday, I had Big Gigantic, from the song debuting HitBound this weekend, retweet my tweet on Twitter and Victoria Monet, the actual singer and songwriter, liked one of my tweets. New Entrants

~ First off, we have Fifth Harmony, with the ghost of Fetty Wap. The song is All In My Head (Flex). I'm frankly annoyed that Fetty Wap was cut out of the song. Why you gotta kill the vibes Hits 1? Just kidding, it's all good. Now, about the song. This song is actually quite catchy and it's like the daugter of Work From Home, basically. Same meaning, same girls, and of course, guest r&b/hip hop artists. The vocals are great, and in particular, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Lauren Jauregui's vocals are the best. The chorus has a very catchy vibe, but the pre-chorus is what really catches the attention, it has the perfect build up. The other ladies of Fifth Harmony also do exceptionally well, like usual in this song. I'm hoping to see success out of this song because it's very worthy of it.

~ Our second and final debut of the week is Twenty One Pilots - Heathens. This song truly has the dark feel to it. Tyler Joseph's vocals are very mysterious which caters to the ominous vibes the song sends. I have to admit, at first this song was nothing special to me, but after repeated listens, it really grew on me. Now, it's one of my favorite songs at the moment. Overall, I think that Twenty One Pilots did a good job and it's a pretty good song, nearing their best work, even though it's not quite their best.

All In My Head (Blurbs)

~ I'm really over Grace - You Don't Own Me and it's irritating mediocrity.

~ I'm not really sad that OneRepublic - Wherever I Go dropped, but I'm not really happy either.

~ I'm not phased that Kent Jones - Don't Mind dropped it's fading on me anyway.

~ Lukas Graham - 7 Years succeeds to annoy me every time I listen to it.

~ I'm not particularly happy with Selena Gomez - Hands To Myself jumping.

~ I'm particularly happy Taylor Swift - New Romantics jumping.

~ It's rather annoying that we have so much mediocrity on this countdown. Songs like AJR - I'm Not Famous, All Time Low - Missing You, Symon - Say, The 1975 - The Sound, and Timeflies - Once In A While need to drop. It's interesting that they're here, but we don't need a flood of these songs.

~ It's good that Sia/Sean Paul - Cheap Thrills continues to hold when it had potential to hit #1...not.

~ Daya - Sit Still, Look Pretty isn't anything special at all. Hits 1 needs to realize that this isn't top 5 worthy.

~ I'm so over The Chainsmokers/Daya - Don't Let Me Down. It needs to not hit #1.

~ It's getting annoying that Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop The Feeling! is hogging the #1 spot. It's probably going to hold for 4 more weeks though, so it can hit 12 weeks, tying the record many songs share.

    1. Thinking realistically, I doubt that was actually her.

    2. That happens a lot because Jason Derulo has invited me to do one. I think someone sets those up or something.

  3. Heh, didn't think you would be a fan of Heathens. Guess I was wrong there :P

Also, quick question - I know that for most of your time with this blog, you had the color code as red = bad song, turquoise = awful song, while most had it as turquoise = really old and red = bad. It wasn't until April of this year that you changed it to that, so what made you keep it as the former for so long? (May want to fix that on the intro page btw.)
