Hey there, my wonderful friends! I apologize for the delay on this post. I did shoot out another Hot 45 Chart this week, though, so please go check it out. This is the link. The reason this week for the late timing on this post is due to the fact that it was spirit week at my school. I did indeed go to the under the lights games and our annual bonfire. So, I have been out supporting my school this week, and haven't had much free time in between. I guess you could say that I am kind of split on looking forward to the homecoming dance tonight, as I did not go to my first one, which was last year. New Entrants

~ First up this week, we have Hailee Steinfeld replacing herself with a much better song. This time around, she brings us Let Me Go, with deejay Alesso. He definitely contributes a very good amount to the track. The beat flows very nicely from start to end. Hailee does very good on the vocals, like usual with her music, so no surprise there. Also brought into the mix were Florida Georgia Line, a country duo. They do a nice job vocally as well and I have no complaints about it. Lastly, musician watt was also featured on this song for the background instrumentals, and it really pulls the song together. All in all, this one is a pretty solid single, and I would love to see some decent success out of it.

~ Our second new entrant to the countdown this week is from none other than The Script. They debut with Rain this week. Now, this is nowhere near their best work. Some of my favorite songs from them include Breakeven, Nothing, and Superheroes. Rain certainly isn't a bad song, it just doesn't completely capture my attention like some of their former singles. At first listen, I only found this song okay. After a few more, it has brought itself into the green category. It will probably demote itself back to blue sometime in the near future, though. At the moment, though, it's nothing entirely amazing to me. That could change, but that's just my opinion right now.

~ Next, we have Camila Cabello debuting at the fairly high position of #23 this week with one of her newest releases, Havana. This station did indeed cut Young Thug out from the mix, but that's okay, because the replacement vocals make up for it. I don't know what else to say about this song besides the fact that the vocals are good, it's a very catchy and repetitive song, and the production is just cool. I just hope this one does well. I just think it's a fairly good song.

~ Last up and the best this week, we have Taylor Swift with yet another song on the countdown. This time, it is her newest song, ...Ready For It?. I'm not sure whether or not I find this song better, with vocal content and production than Look What You Made Me Do, but one thing is for sure. The lyrical content in this song is better. I like all of Taylor's songs and I don't think there will ever be one to disappoint me. She is my favorite modern artist out there. I really hope this song has a very good amount of success here.

Best Debut Of The Week: Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It?

...Ready For Blurbs?

~ Liam Payne continues to hold atop the countdown with Strip That Down. I would prefer if our #2 or even our #4 would be at the top, but it's not an entirely terrible song. I don't mind too much.

~ Mono Mind is going way above and beyond than I thought with their song, Save Me A Place, featuring the likes of Bridge & Mountain. I had not expected this song to even reach the top 10, let alone, #6. I am very glad though as it makes a nice addition to the top 10.

~ Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still hit a new high this week in the top 10. I am very happy about this. I have been enjoying this song for a while and it is definitely one of the best songs here at the moment. Hopefully we can see it keep rising.

~ Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do seems to not be getting any higher than that #9 peak. I was hoping to see this one in the top 3, at least, at some point, but I don't know whether or not that will happen.

~ 1-800-273-8255 has hit a new peak of #20 and made its way into the top 20 this week. I am very glad about this. This is definitely a track worthy of being here. Logic, Alessia Cara, and Khalid did a beautiful job on this one.

~ Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes is clearly not rising like it should be. It dropped below the #20 mark this week. Hopefully this was just a minor setback and it will be back on track next week.

~ Charlie Puth - Attention sadly made a drop this week. This one may be seeing an end in the near future, much to my dismay.

~ Selena Gomez - Fetish has already made a quite scary move on it's second week. Even though it was just a small dip down, this is not a good sign for a song that just debuted. It may be one of those miracles and recover, though.

~ Sabrina Carpenter - Why is making a rather slow start. I didn't entirely expect this one to be hugely successful here. I'm just happy it made it to the countdown without being booted from the station too early.

~ I almost forgot Hey Violet - Hoodie was still with us. I thought this one would have been one to exit a little while ago. It does look like this could be leaving us next week, though. I give it an early farewell.

~ As far as our exits go, we got rid of two bad songs, one of them being an absolute piece of garbage (you know which one I'm talking about). We also got rid of another song that was pretty old at this point, and we got rid of an okay song. So, all in all, it was a pretty good group of exits.

  1. Save Me A Place is a great song and I'm glad it is getting a lot of success here. I heard it was starting to gain a little bit outside of Hits 1 so that's great.
