Debuts

~ Our first new entrant this week is The Summer Set - Figure Me Out. I honestly think this song is pretty good and is a great anthem for trying to figure out your next step you're going to take in your life. Overall, I like it and I hope it has a decent chart run.

~ Next comes returning Hits 1 favorite Jason Derulo with his new single If It Ain't Love. This song has a really catchy beat and Jason's vocals really fit the song well. I really like this song and this is honestly one of his better songs. I hope it doesn't flop like his only other pretty good song, Cheyenne.

~ Lastly, we have Hits 1 alumni The Chainsmokers and Daya! This time together in their new song Don't Let Me Down. This song was grown out on me, but when I took a listen this week, I just loved it again. It's already in the top 20, so I hope it does well.

  2. I hope I don't jinx anything saying this, but I see that Perfect seems to have grown back on you again for now... I'm willing to bet that Drag Me Down leaving has something to do with that.

America's Sweetheart as worst, huh? I don't dislike it as a follow-up to Ex's and Oh's, but I will say Elle King's voice isn't the nicest thing and it's close to getting old for me. And it's nice to see you liked If It Ain't Love after you clearly hated Get Ugly.

I also hope This Is What You Came For makes the countdown before long, heard it twice on Hit-Bound today so we'll see.

    1. Yes, that may have something to do with it.

Elle King's voice gets annoying very quickly.

This Is What You Came For is debuting this weekend. Yasssssss!
